I am happy with my purchase although I do want to see the bugs fixed soon. I was hooked after the Beta events and I would rather have what I have now than not play the game at all. I am able to get on and spend a couple of hours playing before any issues so it isn't a really bad experience for me.

MMO's are not for family people. You choose between your family or the gaming. That doesn't mean you can't get laid by visiting the local bar, night club, etc... That simply means that by choosing an MMO as your choice of game, you are sacrificing the annoying whinge-bags that children and women are for the constant adrenaline rush of gaming.

That being said, I am asexual and I hate children, including despising the thought of what I was 15 years ago.

    'Nuff said.

you are obviously an adolescent. I'm a professional with 3 children, wife, dog etc; own a home do all my landscaping, Rollerblade, dance-yes I'm a freaking spectacular dancer- and still find time to MMO..

its all about balance, too much of one thing is, well, too much,, playing a game all day isn't 'cool' its sad actually

I love the game. I'm happy that I went pc instead of xbox. I'm enjoying myself immensely and 100% satisfied with the deluxe+season pass from steam.

I see your family, and raise you 1 child, and a cat.

Sure, I can't play Defiance like I used to play EverQuest when I was younger and single, but I can still get some pretty decent hours of playtime in. After all, kids and wives do eventually sleep~

Playing games all day is my life choice. My country: the UK allows it. It's sad yes but I love it.
But having children in an overpopulated world is not only selfish towards the other people in the world it's also sad as well in my opinion.

I came to the party just before launch and therefore had no expectations other than my clanmates discussing enjoying the beta.

With no hype to colour my perspective then I find it's a pretty solid action game with a decent story so far.
The combat is tough but enjoyable and the arkfalls are great fun.
There are some bugs but the devs are communicating what they're working on and having come from the Simcity launch debacle, that's a nice thing to see.

I happen to be a married to a Marine and we have two daughters. We all enjoy gaming, my youngest can even beat me and my husband's *** in just about everything. On the outside we are the "typical" family (two income household....husband, wife, two kids and pets) but we make it a point of enjoying life. I am also a huge football and MMA fan. Married with children doesn't mean dead!!!

Nice to see another female fan of mma and football! None of the chicks I know like either. Do you watch women's mma too? Invicta's putting on a ppv tomorrow that I'm really excited for!

As a casual gamer, Defiance has been lots of fun for me and hubby so far. I was disappointed with the graphics on the xbox (hubby initially wanted xbox for more gamerscore points). I don't chew through content though so I feel I will get my money's worth outta Defiance. I've even been enjoying watching the Twitch streams with the Trion crew.

Someone struck too out many times to count at the local bar/night club I guess.

Actually I haven't but I may have to check out the PPV. Hubby and I usually hit up a sports bar to have a few drinks and enjoy the crowd for fights. I know quite a few of my friends that enjoy football but most of them were raised almost the same as me (a ton of uncles around). What football team are you currently supporting? I am a diehard Bears fan.
