Yeah, I guess. Just rather something jack of trades on certain guns.

A weapon with a nano is better than an identical weapon w/o a nano. Some nanos are preferable to others though. Mob type and playstyle are factors. I find damage dot nanos like fire and electricity will do dot to a variety of targets. So that's extra damage when it procs.

Fire is great against afflicted. There Defiance zombies and the devs didn't miss a beat on that. It procs almost always against them.

When I use a flare gun, I'm pretty sure every shot procs too.

Sadly, they didn't scale dot dmg up so Ive noticed dots ticking at 100-140ish dmg. By the time it's over it probably does 1000-2000dmg. That's what? 1 shot with an AR? Bleh.
Aliens exist! It's true! I see them in stores stocking shelves, making pizzas, etc. Yesterday I called a restaurant that delivered, and one of them brought me food. Still don't believe me? Maybe you know them by their more common name: Illegal Aliens.

    I do think it does.

Also, right now radiation is overall a straight upgrade over no nanoeffect since it pierces armor and also can increase damage done, all for a mere 5% decrease in base damage. It has no penalties against shields or health and virtually no weaknesses except maybe high armor levels, but no nano deals worse against those too.
