One item we haven't addressed is the game 'instructions'. There quite thin on them..and sometimes they aren't really what you need to do ( Warmaster intro).

I'm well aware it's an mmo, I can't get my friends to play it though. Even with it free to play now with the 'thin instructions' that are present currently in this title they don't like it. They tried it.
It's also easy to tell this is an mmo thanks to the trolls that are always present. Like those in this thread.
Instructions is a massive problem in the game ATM. The influx of F2P players have made it very annoying to be a veteran player since the chat is now basically a support hotline. I don't even mind helping people, normally, but it's just the combination of the massive amount of new players and the complete lack of any system to introduce them to the game in any meaningful way that has caused an overload.
Still, you're blaming the game and the devs here when, aside from instructions, the problem is your skill level. Not your EGO, your skill level. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's the truth. You can in fact solo these arkbreaks no problem with gear you go take out of a vendor's normal supply (not specials) at any EGO.
Going in to an Arkbreak alone at EGO 800 is definitely not a good idea. I'd wait until you're a higher EGO, around 2000-4000 before trying to solo things. That way you'll have a basic understanding of the game and it's elements. The Volge aren't exactly newbie friendly, so if I were you I'd avoid them solo until you're ready to take them on.
I wouldn't have recommended buying all the DLC, since a lot of them didn't come with great content. Y'know like the 7th legion, all you get is access to the Faction and it's items. That made me sad. At least Arkbreak came with some disconnecty zones and a raid boss.
I'm ego 4100 now i got the season pass a few weeks ago and can survive all minor ones by myself and i don't think i have much skill. The only thing i will need help with is gunslinger golds. $40 I'm guessing you are Australian too? Need a friend to play with you can add me if you want (EU server).

I solo'd one the other day and did not like it (i was at ego 4000ish) I agree that they do seem to keep coming but if you know how they all work it can be done easy enough. The problem is that they don't seem to scale for people, its just one level for all.
Also to all the people saying that its an MMO and you should play with others, well thats just not true, play however you want.
