I was playing all morning just fine when suddenly I lost all sound in Defiance. I uninstalled all patches and waited patiently for them to all reinstall back into the system and still no freakin' sound. I checked my setting within the game and everything is fine... and suggestions on how to fix this crap or does it just eventually start working again ?
If you have performed all of the suggestions provided here, you may want to run the Restore File System! Restore File System will attempt to repair damaged Defiance files on the hard drive.
I saw this post and your answer and was compelled to write this. I have had sound problems from day one and nothing has ever worked to repair it. Most of the time I have to play with no sound. It's just one of those things about this game you have to live with.Originally Posted by GM Domitasia
