Is this a bug, or am I mistaken?

The co-op arenas launch as soon as I try to use the matchmaker for them. When they load up, I'm the only one there. Is this the way it's suppose to work? Have I screwed it up? Are the suppose to be done solo? They are named 'co-op'...

this was a issue on console back when I was playing at release, its like you get put into a diff phase/zone and bad thing use to be, I don't know if this still exists or not,

but if you leave that co op and try to join another one or anything, when the other one you was in and left, when it ends, it going to give you the score from that one and kick you from your current one,,

these was issues several ppl submitted tickets about when game came out, yet new outfits arrived in the store, re colors where more important back then, now tho, if this is a big issue it would be hot fixed or patched..

odd how many of these things I had forgotten about, yet rem once these kind of threads surface.

It is not a bug. Arenas started as a solo experience and though they put them in matchmaking, the only way to get others with you is to have them group with you. The same goes for the boss battles in matchmaking.

Blu you are talking about an old issue with regualr co-ops that was mostly fixed.

He is talking about arenas. They were made so randoms can not join you. You have to get a group together before joining. I pointed that out when all the players insisted that arenas be added to matchmaking, I was told I am an idiot and that wasn't true and if it was Trion would change it before adding arenas to matchmmaking. Well I'm not an idiot, I was and still am right, and Trion has seen no reason to change it.

Agreed. It is lame, but it is how they did it. I was told it was to make sure that a group of non-dlc owners couldn't get in without a Dlc owner, since a dlc owner is required to be in those or the others can't do them.

The devs can lock out players by EGO (expert co-ops), but not if they don't have the right CD Key (Arenas)?

This is a good question/point I think.

Just like I think that encounters/instances could detect how many players are present and scale accordingly. ( solo would be possible but not as good of loot dropping, or mobs spawning as with bunches of people.
