Irisa's a grid!

I am wondering if "Irzu" is preparing an opposing army to stop the Grid &/or saving those it thinks are worthy for after the Grid take over everything and it wipes the world clean to start again...Dun dun DUUUUUUUNNNNNNN.

I'm thinking the Grid and the Irzu/Kaziri are two different things.

I'm thinking the Kaziri was a planet killer/terraforming ship which required "DNA" keys for who not to kill. Note, none of the victims were shown to be KILLED before the metallic french kiss hits them. They are all struggling, then the stuff hits them causing them to stiffen and go into a semi-comatose state for a set period of time. Also note, so far, there has been only one of each race shown to be "infected" of the three we KNOW about (having seen them; Irisa, of course, said many more, but are we sure?). So far there has been ONE Castithan, ONE Liberata, ONE Irathient (not including Irisa).

Perhaps, the Kaziri is grabbing either a "Noah's ark load" of people to restart the races after it goes murder/death/kill, or each is going to be a "DNA of this type is safe" thing.

Wow, I just remembered something. Remember the season 2: Launch 2 trailer to Defiance? Irisa, at some point in the trailer, was commenting that "this world is an abomination and its because of you, humans." Maybe whats in Irisa wants to wipe out the world of all humans. Ofcourse, this is just speculation but what you said makes sense

i dont mean to intrude,but has anyone looked up the episode names list for upcoming season 2 episodes?

i still have no idea what "the cord and the axe" means,but i figure it has something to do with the episode itself,thus logic suggests that the upcoming episode names will and should shed some light on the content of said episodes
