if you you have been playing since day one why is your ego so low.convert ALL your salvage to keys and see how much scrip you have left.4 mill is not 11 mill.everyone i know does what you suggest and STILL has masses of salvage.you must be one of the uneducated Brits who roam this forum spouting the obvious.

Its not whether he was helpful or not he was at least trying to help you. Apparently you didnt appreciate that. He wasnt being an A-hole it was you. They were trying to be kind by helping you. You asked a question it got answered.

Out of curiosity, has anyone actually done any kind of testing to see whether turning salvage into keys and buying lockboxes will actually *be* profitable in the long run, given that we now are back to having to spend scrip for both conversion of salvage into keys and lockbox purchases? I have a ton of scrip and salvage, but it took so long for me to break 2,000,000 scrip that I haven't wanted to do a lot of salvage conversion to keys because I didn't want to end up losing out on scrip overall.

Well as i said i turn all my salvage into keys, i also turn all my scrap weapons into salvage which i turn into keys, i don't always have a lot of scrip but always have enough to turn salvage to keys, so i always have more scrip than salvage,

buying a lot of lock boxes i have over 100 oranges pulled from boxes, i also get a fair amount of decent green/blue/purples and a fair amount of arkforge, and this is how i make scrip to fund buying keycodes,

i basically take popular weapons with good rolls in blue and green, upgrade rarity with arkforge i pull and move them on, dont bother modding them, sumimotos and vbi ar's are easy money spinners, sawn off shotguns can be good money makers (it's not just zaggers that go 0.0) but are more risky as any roll that isn't reload effectively ruins it, big boomers, mezumis, wolfhounds etc, i just look in zone chat to see what's popular and start making them

so yes you can make money turning salvage into keys, and I'm on xbox eu, prices here are a fraction of what they are on NA so you could really make a fortune over there

In a way I have been, but not by design. What I have been doing for two months is play, sell garbage pickups, buy T2s when keys are maxed, sell garbage and every once in a while buy keys in bulk, buy T2s and sell garbage. I was at 4 mil salvage and 2 mil scrip when I started. I will only buy keys when I am significantly over 4 mil salvage. ( That number is arbitrary by the way )

So I have gained at least half mil in scrip as I probably got about 200k via donations from clanmates for T4 mods that I essentially give away because I hate to see good things go to waste.
