Nothing about the original post of his was meant in any way to be toxic. He didn't intend to offend at all. He just sees things quite a bit differently than most of us do. I never wanted an apology. It would have been interesting to learn what he based his conclusions on. The reality I am familiar with doesn't seem to square up with the reality he lives in but that doesn't make an apology necessary.

I see that alot The whole his game his rules thing. But in reality is it not our game? We bought it we support it we keep the wheels on it turning with our purchases.

By definition that should make it ours right? I mean we buy cell phones pay for service. pay for upgrtades pay for apps. Yet noone says hey you got to use our screen savers only because we made droid so we get the say so.

Thats the bigest problem with developers today. They think oh we know whats besteven if the fans hate it.
Oh we going to do it this way because well we want to. Who cares if the players like it. They gotta live with it like it or not.(nades anyone)

What they need to remeber is if they want to continue to be successful they might want to see it more like our games. and themselves as caretakers or engineers with us still as somewhat the captains.

Legally? Hell no it's not "our game". We don't own the code or the IP and we don't write the checks to keep the servers running and the employees paid.

You don't even really own your own phone. You may own the hardware (notice I said "may", you might want to read the contract you signed), but you're licensing everything else from the OS to the software to the cell service.

No offense, but you really lack understanding in how business works. Just because you want things to be a certain way doesn't mean they are.
