why cant we delete/salvage/sell starting items?? they just take up space!!

why cant we delete/salvage/sell starting items?? they just take up space!! its such a waste and it seems like a ploy to get you to purchase extra inventory spots.

this really isnt fair for people who paid the game to not be able to delete these items once we no longer need them.

id like someone from trion to address this issue please. thanks.

You can delete, sell, or salvage anything in your inventory, as long as it is NOT connected to any loadout you own. Check all of your loadouts, and make sure the offending piece of gear is not equipped. I'm sure it is though, replace it with something else, and delete/sell/salvage away.

100% you have your starting weapons in a loadout. It's kind of silly to not be able to sell/delete items in loadouts, or at least have an option to turn that function on.

Even when they're not equipped, they won't show up to sell when you're at a vendor, but when you're looking at your inventory, there should be a delete option when you have them selected (It's triangle, IIRC, on the PS3; the available options are shown at the bottom of the screen once you're on the correct tab).
