First assumed it was an April Fools post, then read the article and realized LucasArts hasn't done anything worthwhile in a long time.
Amen. Good riddance.
Maybe now they'll procure/create a game development studio willing to do great games like...gee..I don't know...TIE FIGHTER?! (And the entire X-wing series, really...but TF was the best of the lot.)
Not only that, they used to make above average/very good/great games like it was nothing.
Maniac Mansion, Indiana Jones/Fate of Atlantis, Jedi Knight -Dark Forces 2, Star Wars: Racer, Star Wars Galaxies...Monkey Island...the list goes on.
Lucasarts has done nothing in recent years other than mediocrity which they've been pumping out for over a decade. Star Wars : The Quicktime Event Unleashed was the last straw for me.
Damn i was really looking forward to Star Wars: First Assault looked like a good game what resembled Star Wars: Battlefront a lot.

I'm a little disappointed we won't see 1313 because that did indeed looked kick *** but LucasArts has been horrendous for quite some time now so this is actually good news, IMO.
Maybe Disney will outsource Star Wars games so competent Devs can actually make some good games with the license.
This is disappointing to say the least.
They made some really great adventure games, back in the day.
I sure hope that Star Wars 1313 gets picked up by another developer, it'd be a shame to let it go to waste. I still miss when LucasArts made point-and-click adventure games - those were fantastic, RIP.
This is truly said to hear but not surprising none the less. It's what disney does make things their way and in such way no one else can mess with it. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Disney start up a new developer to make the Star Wars games with out the Lucas name on them in any way.

Had a feeling this would happen day but out of all times now when I still love STAR WARS!
