Defiance Free-to-Play on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Delayed

Wow, what a quick 360 on what you were telling users asking on twitter and the like not even 24 hours ago.


Speaking of 360, my guess is that the 360 is the reason for the delay?

I'm not mad or disappointed at Trion... I'm mad at Microsoft and their ***-backwards policies that continue give a middle finger to both developers and gamers.....

What policies am I referring to?

How about the ones that require developers to limit or restrict how and what can be added or updated in their games...


Requiring developers charge for new content that is provided free of charge on other platforms...

Defiance, Team Fortress 2 are not the only games that had troubled post-release support due to polices made almost 10 years ago. Payday 2 on 360 has only been patched 1-2 since release, the PS3 version has received 4 updates, the 2 newest and unreleased updates on 360 added/changed much of game (new heists, difficulties, masks)

I'm actually ok with this. It just means we get to "enjoy" the lag and disconnects we're use too before they're increased ten fold. Lol

I haven't been Trioned out or gotten hard freezes any more than 'normal'. If the issues make the ps3 side even more unstable, then surely Trion is doing the right thing. Anymore instability than what we've come to accept as normal on the ps3 side would make the game impossible to play...


Still want the Lock Keeper title, by the way
