I thought it was cool when Amanda saw Nolan in the alley that he was in his clothes from the first season, the brown coat tipped me off that what was happening wasn't real.
I think the thing that freaks me out the most about the whole episode is that Doc Yewll chose to keep the implant. All of the lore states that Indogenes have issues with implants (meaning they are constantly upgrading themselves with them), so I don't think that thing is ever getting removed... unless someone takes it by force. I'm excited to see what kind of havoc this thing is going to cause. I knew she was lying to Pottinger when she said she'd already removed hers. Should be interesting to see where this whole thing goes. Especially if she turns on Pottinger once she figures out she can Cloak...![]()

PTS Reviews on Defiance Data!
"You must understand, young Hobbit, it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish. And we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say."
I sure did. We have a small team on Defiance. About 12 of us do the entire season. There are a lot of shots you wouldn't guess are visual effects. For instance, we had to do eye replacements for Irissa on EVERY shot she's in (she couldn't wear the contact lenses this year....).
But anyways.... We're extremely proud of the Gulanee episode, and hope everyone loves it!
I would love if someone could post a link to a pics of the flashes. . .
I thought her eyes looked bigger..and better. When she was put in the jail cell in the and looks at Tommy I noticed her eyes seemed more alien looking in that scene.
And the next episode looks to be really cool. I caught in the preview a quick flash of the Gulanee punching Churchill in the face. I hope Churchill doesn't die. I hope he holds his own and shows us what makes Biomen super soldiers.
"Ooh, curious. Are you allowed to tell us why? "
I heard the custom contact lenses REALLY bothered her eyes.
