I watched a trailer for it and saw the words "Open World PvP" and knew it wasn't for me at all.

That is only in certain regions...not everywhere! I wouldn't play either if that was true Open World Pvp. I hate a Gankfest!! That's why I'm staying away from Archeage.

It's one zone only, and unlike Defiance you don't need to do it to progress.

I dislike Firefall.

Yup...I was on that Alpha about 18 months ago..it was crappy then and I kinda forgot about it. Then just before it's launch I got an invite to play early and claim some stuff for being on the game early...so I logged in got my free crap..polayed for 15 minutes and haven't touched it since..it still sux.

Little to no stroy-line
Game play is all over the place
No consistent control setup (keyboard vs game pad / vs mouse)
And then there is the one thing I cannot put my finger on, but it's missing something big...I mean really big..the game is just boring.

I could not get into Firefall. Not sure what it was about it to be honest. Maybe it was the, snag a job off the board, travel 800M to speak with someone, travel 800M -1K to the actual quest, or the... have 10 more mobs then you could handle spawn, run out of ammo and use your offhand weapon to finish the quest. Maybe it was every quest felt the same.

Ah well, I've been playing Diablo 3 on my wife's PS4 while she's pre-occupied with Hyrule Warriors lol
