    Leaching at contracts

Since the introduction of the scoring system in gunslinger trials there has been quite a bit of leaching rep from contracts from players

I personally don't see the reason to leach I see the contract through even letting clan mates know that I've arrived at a contract site and work together with them to complete the contract and earn rep. But there are players who appear for a few seconds score 100 points then leave the site not because of dc'ing but left to another site after completing the contract I check to see if players dc but see that they went to another site to leach off of, while I can understand that low ego players have problems with higher levels but those who leach are at a point that they can see the site through to the end.

My question here is should these leachers be allowed to continue to earn full rep for 5 seconds worth of involvement at a contract or should they earn nothing at all?

What gets me is when they stand just inside the area and raise the threat level up, but do nothing help out. A threat level 10 is hard to do for just one person.

Personally I prefer people to get their hundred points and leave. It takes longer if they just hang around and don't pull their own weight (which happens a lot). And when someone whips out their BMG where we are just 2 or three players, I'm leaving. I've reached the point, where I tag things myself, when I'm arriving at a half-done contract site.

You can thank Trick for this, thanks to the scoring system and the scaling. Would you rather just tag stale content, then move on to do sieges and arkfalls, or would you like to grind through tons of double spawned mobs in locations you've done ad nauseum, while some git is blinding you with their beloved spanner "protector"?

If i show up and there are a bunch of players i stay , If i show up and my 5k ego raises it to tl10 for one other person i leave so the tl will go back to normal and go back later.

When the game was first released, all the faction contracts (except Echelon) were completely passive. So my vote goes to tag it and leave! I can do it a lot faster if it's not TL 10, thank you.

I concur. I don't want to raise the TL on someone and I don't want to do it at TL 10 if I don't have to. I mean repeating the same stuff over and over is boring enough right?

They're just being shy. Switch to a Blur loadout and proceed to make the hugest TL 10 mob train you can and bring them over to the other player so they can make new friends.

The scoring system has allways worked that way to a greater or lesser extent. You used to be able to tag arkfalls too for full exp and rewards. The tagging is no real problem because it doesn't make any difference to anyone doing the contract at the time really. The trolling at the edge of a site is annoying for sure.
