Trion Removing Ability To Upgrade Rarity More Than Once Per Item

I think about the poor freebies that are going to join when F2P hits consoles and feel bad for them.

No, I dont have a single perfect gun. I have a few pretty good ones, where 2 of my best guns are actually from lockboxes. One is a VOT Fragger that im sure PvPers of PC EU has had their fair share of and the other one is a Sub-carbine SMG that is currently in the hands of my notorious friend Weidas.

But I get what you are saying, new players are already far behind and wont be able to catch up the same way. However I dont think this is gamebreaking.

If they did that I'd probably just stop bothering and just use basic weapons I can buy off the normal vendors.
Probably give up using specialized ones because I'm not grinding loot boxes and always got crap rewards from events.

Also I already don't enjoy the game, but like I said, it's because of the unstable connection issues, not any game design.

I have never, and will never, purchase a lockbox with Bits. Keys are easy to get, and so is scrip. Well, for now anyway. I'm sure Trick will nerf that as well like he did Arkforge. But I'll uninstall before I am forced to use Bits for a lockbox.

A lockbox is more money than a lottery ticket and will never buy you a 75' yacht.

I built a perfect Sumi from a green and at least 5 perfect triple crit weapons from blues. No one trades anymore, just go look in the trading forums. The only problem I see with this, is it should of been implemented the day arkforge was released. To little to late if you ask me. We should of never been able to create legendarys.

If you take TRION's age old statement of "A longer and more fulfilling chase" the ability to upgrade gear NEVER should have been introduced. Too little too late...the game is flooded. There is nothing "rare" about "growing" legendary gear. There is no reason to seek people out to trade anymore because chances are you have gear that is as good, if not better.

This is another TRION move "Putting a Band-Aid on a Broken Leg".

If you want a "Longer more fulfilling chase" you don't hand the kids the keys to the weapon vault...oops

To be honest, I don't hate this change all that much provided they do SOMETHING about the appalling value of the lock boxes. I want to see at least two purples out of a T4, even better if it was a purple and an orange guaranteed.

I'll settle for one purple guaranteed and a mentionable chance at an orange. You know like more often than every 1000s T4 lockboxes.
Hell even 1% would be a step up :P
