Watched my first episode of the show last night, was disappointed it wasn't all combat like the game seems to be heck I only saw ONE hellbug, and no one put 500 bullets in it to kill it.

, I have pretty much lost all respect for Season 2 at this point, especially after the last couple of episodes. It's a shame because it started out so well.

This is the Sci Fi channel. They have a chosen one, they have gods and goddesses and the hoodoo that goes with them, they kill and resurrect people like I use the toilet.

Which is understandable. I'm OK with that, except for the fact that the Teacher had no issue getting workable implants from the Casti girl.

Logically speaking, Nolan and Irisa would have had no problems getting Rynn and her eye back to Doc well within the same amount of time that the Teacher was able to get his new eyes. If she ends up without a full set of working eyes,

Thing is, we don't know what state Rynn's eye was in. All we saw was the doc put a few drops if liquid on it and stick it under glass. At room temperature... Depending on how long it took to get to Doc Yewl, the eye could have suffered too much degradation to be saved. I sure hope not, but it's certainly not an implausible development.

I think it has less to do with what was removed and more to do with the damage caused during extraction. That doctor was killing his "donors" afterwards. I don't think he was being super careful about the removal process.

Defiance, the Soap Opera. I give this show two more episodes to prove to me that it's anything other than a well acted daytime soap opera with simulated sex scenes then I'm done with it. And the game will be right behind it.
