EGO Cap Returns

Not true. The removed pursuits took out 35 EGO. Someone without those is at a max of 5851 right now, with only 49 to go until the cap, with more Season 2 episode pursuits and Silicon Valley pursuits on the way. Unless you are of the belief that we'll get less than about 10 more pursuits while the 5900 EGO cap exists, that's incorrect.

Except I'm not wrong. I have the chat logs with GMs from when I submitted the tickets. That player who has 5891 most likely has the DLCs. There is no player without the DLCs that has past 5700. Not a single one unless somehow the Devs have changed this since my last ticket submitted only a month or so ago.

Except they will continue to add pursuits even though they are capping it. So it may eventually be possible to reach cap without Dlc or the missing 45 or so ego unless they raise cap every 3 months or quit adding content altogether.

I suppose they will raise the ego cap, at least once more, to 6000.

The current ego limit of a new player without the DLC is ego 5656 (as of today). That's 230 levels less than an old player with all the DLCS. 195 ego levels from the DLC pursuits, and 35 ego levels from the removed pursuits.

So all those players will never be able to reach the ego cap.

Unless they:

- Make the DLCs free for everyone.

- Restore those removed pursuits/missions.

Seriously, why the hell did they remove them? i don't understand...

It would be nice to be able to skip some pursuits, the servers are such a mess that the time trial courses don't load half the time these days.

A hard, common level cap would be good for what minimal player economy there is.
