I just got into the tv show and was excited to try out the game on my 360, but i cant even pick up the shiel for my new character without a disconnect. Any word on xbox server status, cause right now they arent working right.

They shut off the server so people couldn't grind more arkforge before the update.
Sooo, just FYI.
It didn't work.
US server - PC I can't even get to the character selection... says critical issue, the service is not available right now and even if I click "retry" it immediately comes back up to the same error message.. I have no choice but to close the game.
This after hours of the game being iffy on whether you could get in... and changing phase would get you auto-kicked. Now it seems the server is down completely.
I've been playing since beta and NEVER had this issue before. So I'm guessing something is broken that, obviously, a server reboot didn't help with.
