Its not patch, but bug fix. And there are many and many bugs.

Is there a bug fix for properly logging in and actually being able to create a character which leads to......TA DAAA....actually playing the game??

If you consider that a huge amount of people can already log into the game and play I think you will find that this bug could be hard to nail down, as there seems to be a group of people affected.

It could be an issue with a certain ISP, it could be an issue with a certain bit of hardware the computers are using, it could be an issue with the router people are using.

It could be an issue with software people are using (everyone effected may have a certain firewall or virus scanner that is causing it) etc

Since a lot of people can already log in and play, and they are people who have ordered the game from several retailers in my mind means that whatever is causing this bug might take a bit of time and effort to discover and fix.

If no one could log in then it would be much easier to locate and fix it.

Thanks Neokro for the info; not being tech savvy myself those were things I had not even thought about. Whatever is causing this issue, hopefully will be addressed by a moderator sticky.
