What we need is patch notes to go along with the bug fixes. We could cancel old tickets and such if we had them.

ace, that sounds like an issue that seems to pop up in almost every MMO... check your firewall and make sure the ports the game uses are open (as i don't have a copy of the game yet, i can't readily tell you what ports to look for), as well as granting the .exe permission to ignore the firewall. this issue popped up for people in MMO's going back as pre-kunark everquest, and most of the time its one port out of 3 or 4 being closed by a users firewall.

Good idea but its not a firewall issue on my end, and they are up to their eyeballs in server canal water ATM I'm thinking. I know this because mine is turned off. For example, The patch updates error resetting downloads is a major issue ATM because you can't set it and forget it, as the error bounces you out of the dl process (like in the middle of the night). I'm sure this will be addressed but it's a pia ATM...

Not sure why they still aren't posting them in the client.

It could be an issue with a certain ISP, it could be an issue with a certain bit of hardware the computers are using, it could be an issue with the router people are using.

It could be an issue with software people are using (everyone effected may have a certain firewall or virus scanner that is causing it) etc

Since a lot of people can already log in and play, and they are people who have ordered the game from several retailers in my mind means that whatever is causing this bug might take a bit of time and effort to discover and fix.

If no one could log in then it would be much easier to locate and fix it.

Edit, I also agree with this to add relevance to my post.
