This game has gotten incrementally worse ever since launch. Not one big avalanche of worse, like SWG:NGE (although the Bullet Sponge Patch did its best), but actually less and less stable and reliable over time. On the PC, anyway (apparently it's always been crap on consoles). I haven't been able to reliably play for more than five or ten minutes at a time for at least three weeks now. Some sessions are okay...but at other times, I'm getting critical disconnects every couple of minutes. I've never seen a game just completely come apart at teh seams like this (and with every effort to fix the problems ending in failure).
It's so bad, I'm becoming convinced we're all being trolled.

Is it always like this? I Dl it this weekend but couldn't do anything but freeze and crit out. Waste of my time this game. People paid for this at one point?
When there are quite a few players in one area (like in arkfalls) the game just freezes up (as in zero frames per second). You guys might need more horsepower on your end to handle the load. I don't have this problem in other games.

I can't even complete the Dark Matter Monolith Arkfall without getting disconnected. I've just decided to skip it whenever I see it because people start running in place way before we take it down lol
Seems like they're too busy adding stuff to the game no one really wants instead of fixing the servers.

Don't play on wireless network.
Also your internet connection shouldn't be less than 10mbit.
I think they're doing what they CAN do, which is add stuff. The stability stuff seems to be unfixable...
I upgraded PS3 to wired connection. The only improvement I noticed is less lag in PVP, seemed to help me do better. Hard freezes, DC's, and general lag here and there (stop-motion effects REALLY horrid lately) remain EXACTLY the same high rate as before.
If any MMO eats up 10Mb it's utterly and completely broken beyond repair and should be shut down immediately. Most people would see their monthly caps hit inside 10 hours of play if an MMO used that kind of bandwidth. 50Kb should be more than enough for any MMO, so long as your pings and packets are good. The lag is not some mysterious golden threshold of petabit internet to avoid it, it's a bug or a problem with the servers, plain and simple.
