I just tried to patch on xbox EU and it struggled for a while then kept saying patch error so I'm leaving it for now

I wouldn't until they say the servers are good to go. Even then there's the possibility it'll wreck everything so really its best to wait until they say its good to go and wait for others to patch and see what they say.

I started patching but then I cancelled it after about 5mins.

Will that count as a partial download or something?

Mine did some sort of a secondary download and slapped me with another critical. Seems like a "no" to me.

I've patched without a problem, just waiting for the servers to come online. But it's getting late for me so probs wont play till tomorrow :/
