Just logged in after patch to find 1) voice chat is not working at all, 2) cannot read text chat at all, and 3) under settings in colourblind section it says no string attached. Probably will be more, but this is what was discovered the first minute of play.

At you you were able to get on.
Noteven a second after my character loads, my ps3 freezes.

That truly does suck. I can at least play the game, even if it is in silence.

Yeah I don't know what's wrong. I think it's a corrupted file I got from patching. Do I wipe my game data utility? And if so, will it erase all my progress and rank? I've never had this problem before. v_v

Trion stores your character and everything. I have heard people say that when they cannot get in they delete it all and start again. I would wait until someone verifies that though. I have been wrong in the past.
