Finally...

Well that map isn't as big as I would have hoped, I thought it was all of that land mass under San Fran that we'd get, but it's still good....... It's cool...... I love the bird sounds and the new places to explore.......

You know what screw the missions today I just want to explore the new map............

So far fun, but why do some of the events you meet start at 4 and ramp up to 9 or 10 near the end, and no other players are around to cause this?........ That's my only niggle.

I like the landscape, it's cool. Not as big as i hoped, but okay.

Somehow i miss the opportunity to fast-travel back to the main land. Do we seriously have to travel to Port Bruno Station and then travel to the station near Overpass, then ride back to Overpass and then i can go back to anywhere else? Other way around the same issue. That's a hell of a ride just to reach the main lands (and back).

I like the valley so far - I can see the music becoming a bit annoying, though...

Oh, and I'd really like to see what critter is making the tweeting noise!

I was wondering why they changed the maps to only show the bay area/san francisco. After seeing the new area i knew why. Its much smaller then youd expect.

Can't see a thing, been well over 5 hours, last thing I read all platforms were open, then why does the patch freeze my xbox for the 5th time now? I've even deleted Defiance from my files and reinstalled. Still freezes

Silicon Valley looks like everywhere else in the game. Other than a few new buildings, a few new plant types, and a few art assets, its tiny, and fully devoid of anything.

The Music is absolutely annoying as hell, I would definately burn my ears with a blow torch than listen to whatever that was supposed to be (doesnt fit with the rest of the game music).

The Voice acting of all but Cass (thank you for Not changing her voice... we love you Cass) was attrocious.

The story line was Dull and most disappointing (so far), hopefully we get something approaching a story soon.

The new invasion type event needs to be upped in terms of possible spawns. I saw three major arkfalls, and No Invasion today (after playing for 4 hours).

The only benefit to heading to silicon valley at the moment is the emergencies, and they glitch out like crazy. Had three emergencies spawn in the SAME place... while challenging and fun, Im assuming that Grid, Volge and 99ers all in one spot is unintended, specially as the UI was freaking out trying to tell which I was doing.

Not to mention the Lack of Any conflict sites what so ever.

This was their chance at showing us that they have been working on something special, what we got was "Look at the shiney shineys!" with No shiney shineys... just some Bloke shouting to look at the houdini shineys.

On a plus note, I do like the Trion HQ... I tea bagged that sign for a good 5 minutes today, childish I know, but worth every moment.

Its sad when the Forum for a game is more enjoyable than the game.

Oh and OP, I am glad you liked it, I hope that my downer on it doesnt come accross as mean or in poor spirits, but thats how I feel. I sincerly hope that they have something amazing to offer soon. Oh and whats with the Million scrip T4 that drops craptastic loot? a friend got 2 purples and 2 blues, all encrypted, no outfit, no arkforge... the two purples were a disruptor with double accuracy, recoil and stowed weapon, and a Brutal afflictor with double reload, recoil with stowed weapon. The blues werent much better. 1 Million scrip... are you kidding me? The purples could have at least been unencrypted for that price.

I wish... at least then I could go into the future, find a phaser type gun that leaves no trace then come back and... sorry that would get me an infraction for insulting trick dempsey... what I meant to say was get one of those lovely hellbug plushies that they will invariably start selling soon...

Again, sitting playing the forum as its got more hold than the game... Love this forum game... its like zone chat... only with less biggotry and racism... but only just.
