Can you tell us about what new and shiny things are on the horizon in Defiance?

We’ve got a few things on the horizon for Defiance. We’ve got Free to Play reaching the Xbox 360, we’re finalizing another update targeting late September, and we’re working on our first big update for after Season 2.

I must be playing the game wrong. Arkforge, Script, salvage *shrugs* so what.
Orange, purples, blues, again, big deal.
I use what ever drops and very seldom attach a mod. So what if i die, big deal. Get up, dust self off, and get back into the fight.
Granted I don't worry about DPS, or where I place on the damage charts. Though thanks to some posts here, I do look for certain nano effects.
I think everyone is getting worked up over nothing. This game is nothing. It's free to play, is why it's nothing. Now if one were paying a monthly fee, then I can understand why you'd complain. I beta tested, pre-ordered, purchased the season pass, and spent about 300 bucks on this game. I haven't spent any cash on this game in about 6 months, and I don't plan on it. Of course Trion, like every other free to play MMO company uses cheap tricks to make you pay.
Prime example is inventory space. Want more, pony up real life cash. Trion must make a boat load of cash off of Rift. As the bank slots and bag space is rather limited. Same in Defiance. Want more, open the wallet.
To me, inventory space is the only thing sold in the cash store that is a must buy. Hence why I'm not interested in the cash store, cause I got all the space I need. Unlike Rift, Defiance lacks crafting, so no space is lost to crafting.

and fyi I did pony up. my 4 toons have a combined inventory of 2600. I gave them my money. now I want a reason to keep playing. the game as it is now is not worth turning on.

Id say just do the contracts and wait till the ingame events become worthwhile again.

This is exactly what I have been doing the past 4 weeks. I log in do my contracts, watch zone chat to see if anyone is looking to buy anything I may have and then when Im done log out and play Dark Souls II.
