Have y'all ever thought that the reason a lot of community forum suggestions aren't implemented by the Defiance team, is mainly due to the fact that only a tiny percentage of Defiance players actually use the forums, and then again, an even smaller amount actually bother to write a thread, or complain.

I'm not sure where you can find player figures for Defiance, I know Bungie said 4.6 million played the BETA, but pop along to the forums, are there 4.6 million people talking about the game, nope.

Lets say there are 500,000 players worldwide on Defiance, i've only seen about a dozen or so who frequent these forums on a regular basis, from Olaf(very rare to see now) Bonehead, Deunan, NegativecR8P, Drackiller, Holy Bahamut, Arimmer, Big Jack Shephard,Iceberg, and myself..I might have forgotten a few other frequenters from the old crowd.
And recently a new batch of people who come here a lot.

But really, lets say 30 max people make all the complaints that gain a lot of replies, it's not enough to warrant much attention from Trion.
People say, lets boycott the game, have an ingame march to protest, but unless all the Defiance players get together and complain or demand answers here, there isn't going to be much of a change.

Simple reason being: a person who downloads Defiance when it's F2P on consoles soon, or if they buy the game today, won't understand nor care about what all the vet's have had to go through, they'll see 1 million scrip as a challenge to fight towards, to hopefully gain a weapon that they can show off to their online game friends, probably by taking a photo and using it as their sig to state "look what i got, I bet you lot can never get this, you better respect me now" sad i know, but that's whats gonna happen.

I'm a few thousand scrip from gaining 1 million, and sure it'll be freaking annoying if i get rubbish when i spend it, but so what.
If i have a million saved in any game, it's because I don't need it for anything else, and that i've plowed hours and hours into a game i'm really enjoying.

Any time i find a game boring, or too problematic, I just turn it off for a while, go play something else, and come back a few days, weeks or months later.

Calm down dears, it's only a game.

Sorry, I have to chime in here. Burying some notes about a loot and reward "balance" among a lengthy list of changes and publishing them a couple of hours before deployment, only for players to discover both loot and rewards have been slaughtered is disingenuous at best.

Presenting this as an act of balance instead of a nerf designed to forcefully draw people into the store is like telling an employee who's been laid off that he hasn't been made redundant, but offered plenty of free time.

Some have said they felt insulted by this move.

    I don't.

I feel my intelligence has been offended.

I don't think people can ever complain about prices over non-performance items that are pure vanity. But Arkforge is necessary. I haven't (and will never) spend $20 on 500 Arkforge. It's insane. On the other hand, if it were $10 for 1000, my psychology and sense of value would buy them, and catch my alts up. No matter what choke-hold strangling you do on us in game, it will not get me to pay your current prices. I've simply abandoned my characters.

I have bought so many outfits from the bit store, it might be considered embarrassing. You finally come out with another specific outfit that I actually would like to have, and would probably pay $20 for (I've done it before). Then you hide it, like a lot of stuff now, behind a random chance lottery wall. Making it pink feels like someone is deliberately luring or trolling me. Or both.

Please disregard the two Corporate boxes I bought out of the store today (and got all junk, with no new outfit). That wasn't an example of your model working. It was the only thing I could think of to do with the 800 bits I had left in my account, before quitting this game, when I saw the 1,000,000 lock box tag.

How does the latest batch of "rebalances" fit in the picture ?

Why would you showcase the items and synergies on the livestream. If only dedicated players and heavy wallet players can attain the items. I would call myself a pretty dedicated player but 1 mil is just too dedicated for me. I guess you were aiming that price more for the double digit IQ players. I see players with only 2 mil script buy it for jokes mostly. But Im not spending scrip unless I can get a decent return value on my investment.
Everything inside the box is trash, the synergies, the gear. And spending 1 mil for an outfit that has a chance to not even drop.

    The Way of Change Synergy
Who is their right mind is going to melee Ark Lvl mobs

    Firewall Synergy
Only the armor plate repair is nice. You dont even need those healing buffs when a BMG outheals Ark lvl mobs.

    Wetwork Synergy
Far to situational to get the dps output from the synergy.

You guys are out of touch with the community and your own game. Do you even play the game yourself ? Would you buy that box yourself with scrip ?

    loving the snip btw, lol.
True true, but how many reversals have happened since Defiance was first playable, because of forum complaints?

We finalized the new values the night before the patch went live which is why they weren't reflected in PTS, where we've used temporary, non-final pricing in the past.

How is increasing the price by 1000% rebalancing? And how is that work? Unless you were trying to balance everything to completely favour Bits, you can´t call this balance.
Keycodes prices were cheap, and i being a new player didn´t think the price was bad since they were (and still are) easy to get by playing so i had a choice, play and wait or just use scrip. Now it´s ridiculous.
The espionage crate, the price is stupid now. It wasn´t worth the price before (Considering its rewards and chances), its completely stupid now.
