    As was to be expected, they're pulling the same stunt on me, too. Here's what I've got so far (links and personal data have been removed):

    Hello,

    the point of participating in a game's beta program is to help the developer find errors in his game. Nowadays it also serves as a means for the customer to familiarize himself with that game before it is released. A beta key that is sent to a customer at the time of the game's official release cannot serve any of these purposes, because by that time, the beta program is already over.

    According to Trion, the developer of the game that Amazon.co.uk is selling, Amazon.co.uk is also supposed to mail these beta keys to the customers shortly after they have placed their pre-order. Please escalate this issue to your superiors. I fear that somewhere, something is going terribly wrong, which a lot of your customer's postings on the Defiance developer's forums seem to affirm.

    The email with beta invites and codes normally flow on a thursday and friday so just be patient that is the part of the week I've been getting emails from them.
    Activate interlock! Dynotherms connected! Infracells up! Mega thrusters are go! LET'S GO VOLTRON FORCE!
