Serious question here if defiance was made and controlled by bungie
with everything remaining the same would anyone be complaining at all.

Yes, obviously because stability would still suck, the writing since the original team was let go would still suck, and the game would still feel like it was stuck in beta purgatory.

All the changes were to balance and you know what if you want to tell me what specifically ruined the game go tell me what it is because it is nothing compared to games where it is valid to complain about the problem.

I wasn't even going to try Destiny because of the all the hype. I thought it was all marketing, but then they opened up the Beta and I played it. I fell in love with it.

To answer your question, it has nothing to do with WHO makes the game. A good game is a good game, I could give a rip who made it. I wasn't a fan of the Halo games, played them occasionally at best. Was never attached to Bungie as a developer, in fact haven't really ever been a fan of any developer. I like to play good games. Defiance was a great game, but isn't near the game it was before.

I've poured days of time into it, and at this point the return on that investment has been a swift kick in the crotch by Trion. The one thing that I do know about Bungie, is that they have staying power. They know how to cultivate a community (as witnessed by the massive following of Halo), so I know given the investment in this game they aren't just going to drop it. They know how to test, they've got a successful beta under their belt, and I'm looking forward to pouring hours into another great game. Just like I did with CoD, America's Army, Global Agenda and Battlefield BC2. You'll notice a lot of different developers made those games, a good game is a good game.

not to derail this heated debated about trion and bungie but arnt we all forgeting the fact aht bungie is trying to take over the world ? and trion is just trying to servive in it ?

It depends on your definition but there is a social aspect to the game. You just have to know your friends list. I will eventually work on that, you know deleting and adding. I do wish we could cross gen our fireteams though... Sorry wrong forum.
