Yeah, my younger brother ran out and bought an SSD for his PS3 thinking that DCUO would perform much better... but in the end, it still didn't run as well as it does when played on the PS4.

SSDs and Hybrid HDDs will only improve performance on games that have a constant load from the disc or the hard drive, single player games. They improve the loading times drastically and i`m feeling that now that i`m back playing Skyrim again.
Skyrim is playing like perfection it self now.
But for online only games, those hard drives wont do a thing.

I still highly doubt that Skyrim runs better on a PS3 than it does on a 360. But that is neither here nor there.
