    not necessarily. I tend to get a lot of agro from a lot of enemies because I'm constantly running around pulling people out of trouble themselves. when you are targeted by 3 bombers a viscera and a couple of troopers its hard not to continuously go down. and this is my regular siege pattern I have become quite good at escaping bomber homing rounds but there is only so much I can do...... but I still easily score over 65k.... well. I haven't played since the scoring nerf so I suppose that should be "I used to score over 65K" I don't know wha tmy 65k and up is equal to now.

    True, maybe? But Defiance you don't have to travel 800 meters to talk to a "worried father" then travel 1.3 kilometers to get to the actual quest.

    All kidding aside, I guess every game should have a death penalty, but minus 1K or so from your score? C'mon. That's worse then SWG deleting your Jedi lol

    Okay so I agree with both sides of this but am ultimately going to side with the "drop the penalty" people with the note that this really doesn't even affect me at all. Breaking the 27K barrier is never an issue, I'm usually well above 100K for that matter unless I come into one at the last minute or something...And at this point I'm taking a break from them while I finish that last PvP pursuit (50 hours) but will be back on these grinding to get my clan rank up..since we're a small clan and I've not had time to recruit I've pretty much taken us to rank 2 solo...though if you wanna join a small clan that is always looking for actives... hint hint wink wink nudge nudge find me on the NA PC

    I agree, it should be lowered. This should go in suggestions or something as I dont think any Devs or staff have read this and it is a valid point.

    The score penalty was put in because the developers didn't like the extract tactic used for the Warmaster.

    With the reduction in scores and the Warmaster being a dead event that no one does anymore, there's next to no point in the score penalty being there in the first place.

    for those of you who keep refering to scrip loss read the post.its about fair.on the EUxbox server we suffer a problem at the mutant swarm inc where you lose your upscale and face tl10 enemies at your actual ego.instant death.even on my ego 5896 char i still get smashed by super raiders now and again
    this post was more for new players.to say you should spend all your scrip to avoid paying out is stupid.would take ages to spend 12 mill

    Actually, Red 5 put in a LOT more dynamic events so now you don't have to do jobs at all. The game just got a whole lot better.

    I actually like the current 1K Pen for going down and 3K for dying. It pushes me to strive forward, but then again, I play games that are difficult because I enjoy them. I don't mind the point loss, just reminds me not to do something stupid next time. Like earlier in Kenn Farm, Me and 1 other person, they jumped down, with a shot gun and revolver, their EGO was about 200. I jumped down to save 'em, sent out my Decoy, Still died. I knew it was a bad idea, still did it, lost 4K. My Fault, won't be stupid again, next time, blow everything up first, then jump down. :3

    It could be worse.. They could go Eve Online and you could loss Ego rating, just like if you don't upgrade your clone for Eve to save enough skill points.

    At my level (4000 ego), losing 1k for falling down and 3k for extract seems fair. I could even take more.

    But for any lower ego this is far by fair. First of all, I can make 3k score in 30 seconds. A lower ego cannot do the same with his damage output. Secondly, I have a 10k+ shield, which makes me 5-10 times more resilient than a lower ego. Why should we pay the same price? A score penalty extraction scaled to ego is required.

    Also, buff the score that someone gets from reviving / healing others depending on how many enemies are around. Maybe this way people will be more cooperative. These days you get revived only if the round is over and there isn't anything better do to around. I feel that someone who is putting a defense spike, using a decoy to distract enemies and jump between 3 units to revive your *** should be rewarded. He gets close to 0 score for this. Also, I would give a small score to those to spam spikes. Every ally that gets the bonus from your buff should grant you a small score. I mean ... if you are ego 500 and play well (use grenades; revive allies ; pam spikes ; use BMG to heal others) you get literally nothing at the end even though your contribution is not un-noticed. Also this way people would learn to use spikes. Out of 20 , we are maybe 2 or 3 that use them during a siege.
