Where did they go? I'm doing the Sniper Ridge quest and the ammo caches just aren't there. There are markers where they should be, but it's just an empty space, what do we do?

Had this issue occur for a couple quests last night, I had to abandon it and start over.
If you go to your map there is an abandonment option (at least on PC there is) and you can pick it up again.
Yeah there is an abandon mission on consoles as well and noticed that a lot of them will have you doing some quests but it won't count so you have to do it over. If it does that I would think about abandoning. It really depends on how far you have to walk or drive back to get the quest though.
I'm on 360, and yes, there is the abandon option, and I've tried that twice. It seems that others are having this problem as well, seeing as how everyone is running around in circles by the ridge.
Like, this is really annoying. I seriously have no idea what were supposed to do now.
