Warning - Legendary weapon disappeared

Be careful not to logout while you have weapons actively being modified in the Salvage Matrix.

I bought several T4 lockboxes and finally got lucky and got a legendary weapon. The legendary wep had two mod slots, so I bought 2 mods and added them. Then I added a slot and waited the required 10 minutes for it to complete - no problem. Then, I started the process to add the fouth slot and logged off while the slot was being added.

When I logged back in, the weapon was GONE! I can only assume that it's a bug. I have contacted support and hope to hear from them soon.

Sorry to hear that man, and thanks for the heads up! But the title of this thread brings up something that has been bothering me. I want to call the weapons something else... the common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary labels just feel out of place. I know they are MMO standard these days but a rifle with more mods isn't really legendary it's just better kit. I don't want to jack your thread, I'll think about posting this topic myself in the future.

Yea, that's a good point. It's not a 'legendary' wepaon. It's a just a weapon with additional bonuses and more mod slots. I should have just said orange quality. Trion should give us some names, so I can post my future complaint/warnings more accurately.

Exact same thing happened to me. Very irritated over it. The first time it happened to me, it was a blue quality weapon, no big deal. I thought I may have accidentally sold it or broke it down. The second time, it was the orange quality. Now I know why. I'm going to report this. Would like to be refunded somehow, but I doubt this will happen...

Support will be able to return your gun. Trion actually gave their GMs good tools.

Sat through the like 4 hour live chat queue to speak to a gm to have them restore nolan's gun. They gave me two, haha. Ended up salvaging one of them.

This problem isn't completely tied into the salvage matrix cause I lost a weapon while in the middle of a fight when I attempted to switch to my secondary. Granted I did add mods to the weapon the night before but that was hours before I had logged out so I don't think this is completely tied to the tool itself.
I really wish there was a way to contact GMs in game instead of having to open a support ticket on there website but right now I lost all interest in playing until this gets fixed cause I don't want to keep logging into missing weapons.

Happened to me twice today. So frustrated. This game got REALLY buggy as of two days ago.

I really hope it's not going to take everyone 4 hours to get missing items back. I'm getting pretty pissed off about this too. First, I lost a blue Big Boomer, then a purple sawed off shotgun, now a Blue rocket launcher rebounder which I really liked. It seems to be a bug when you leave the current world to either pvp or log out. Although, I'm sure it's not strictly related to 2 of those. Personally, it seems that if I go to mod a weapon in the salvage matrix, then logout or pvp, I lose the item.

What I don't understand is why this issue hasn't been stickied and addressed. There seems to be a lot of threads on this.

You actually can put in a help request in game. Theyve responded to mine via email, usually a day or two later. Im not sure what platform you are on, but if u are on PC you can hit Esc, hold spacebar, go to settings, support desk and you can open a ticket.

I lost my fave assault gun that I had been using all day and really liked it hmm I may ask support if I can get it back
