You're getting a $10 discount on all five DLC's by purchasing the Season Pass. It doesn't expire, think of it like a bundle deal for a bit cheaper than all of them individually. No Season 2 DLC is currently being planned, but that could change.

Steam conveniently put them together (as with most other games) anyone that didn't ASK first, will not know better, and grab all of them believing they are all separate DLCs.

Ah yeah, as you say Steam just lists all DLC to let you buy it in one click. It's not an offer, and since the season pass includes all the DLC, it should be taken off.

However on the store site that's seems more intentional, than an accidental placement on the store page.

As per request, since the topic at hand was discussing pricing issues with dlc I believe the answer was given, the price is now lower than all 5 combined. However on the Steam price the only time one has seen a price that high was during the time Trion decided to gouge money out of the play base with a Legendary weapon kit, hence my post of linking that pricing with another under handed tactic by the company.

The trion marketing department may have had a hand in telling steam what to price the DLC for, maybe not, at this rate that is what my opinion on the subject matter was.

It's probably just laziness, or they're assuming everybody knows the season pass includes released DLC. It'd be better if they listed Defiance including the season pass under a different item, like they do with Rift and its various starter packs.
