In the end, backers are just an indication, Kiwi will still choose questions she feels are appropriate or that she can get answers for. I'm guessing F2P still doesn't have a date on XBOX.

I answered the question with what information we have in last weeks Q&A thread - you can see the post here.

The details are the same this week. We are still working on the F2P build and certification, and as soon as we have more details we will let you know. This is a case where I don't want to give specific dates until we have something firm, and I don't have that at this point.

Halo Reach is free to download until the end of the month starting today for Gold members, that's something to help pass the time if sci-fi shooters are your thing. I'll continue to patiently await an answer about the Defiance free to play on 360 as I have been.

Can consumable charges automatically be picked up or salvaged?

If I'm maxed out, I'd rather pop one and then pick it up. Having them sit on the ground a bit works out as temporary storage to get around the max.

I think Microsoft are the ones holding f2p up. It wouldn't be a good idea for them to point the finger like that so it could explain why they are so vague when it comes to information. They have to really want the game to go free because new players on PS3 are buying things from what I see.
