Very strange - were you folks able to log in fine prior to these errors?

i had a little trouble last night until i reset my router, been fine all day for me.

its almost like excessive attempts, or certon timed ones blocks our connects to the log servers. until we reset that is.

Yep happened for the first time yesterday, when I tried to log in to forums I had a "connection to server reset" error from Chrome. It only happened to the website login, I could still log onto the game client fine.

I proceeded to clear cache and reboot router as someone suggested on the forums (did a quick search) and everything went back to normal.

Yes, had no problems until about 2:00am est this morning maybe closer to 3:00am

ok lets start from the top. when you try and log in (you press log in) what happens exactly? do you get an error, do you get nothing at all?

Clicking on "LOG IN" gives this url:

Does not let me log in - does not appear to have done anything other than to bring me back to the same page. Clicking on the "LOG IN" Link at the top right side of the page will produce this url:

Very similar but different to the last. Same page but nothing changes: Clicking yet again on the "log In" link at the top right of the page will produce this url:

this behavior will go on and on in an endless loop. Now when I try to go to the Trio Worlds website by clicking on the T icon up above the "log in" link at the top right side of the screen I am sent to the following url: http://trionworlds.com/en/
clicking on the "Sign In" link at the top left side of the page gives this url / error
https://rift.trionworlds.com/?locale=en_US Can hit the Try again button as many times as you like and the same results,and gives the Connection was Reset error. Same issues in Firefox and Chrome.

Under Game tab / I see Join the Fight and click on the Sign In linnk at the top right side of the page will produce the following url:

when I get to the bottom of that page (still not had the place to actually log in) but will see the Enter Arkfall codes to enter rewards "Get Started" button. which takes me back to the following URL:
http://defiance.com/en/my-ego/
where the (log in/register) box pops up... and this is the cycle that I am finding.

any suggestions?

that is EXACTLY what i had last night. i know you have tried it but please switch off your router again, leave it off for 5 full minutes, restart your pc then try it again. i bet it works

I created a new account with a different browser - went through the whole thing... entered all the codes, then logged out... and came back to firefox and tried to log back in.... thought it would go to the new account as they are synced with the trion website and poof... logged me back into the original one..
so very strange.. did not have to reset the router again... Weird

guess I need to go delete the dummy account now - Thanks for the help... was so very frustrating... <GROAN> especially without much sleep <Yawn>...

It worked fine for me yesterday but not when I woke up. Anyway, going to the garage for a couple of hours, to work on my MC did the trick - it always does ^^
