stucked on 4.000 EGO - epic fail of TRION

XP wont give u more EGO before you get all the perks. So... nothing. No main mission, Ark Falls or sieges are useless (and laggy)... whats the game sense?

Now I asked in game and they sad I should complete all the persuits... which are a pain in the a...

I tried and the game becomes from cool to a torture.

Races? I never played races...
Defiance looks like a third-person game with action and also adventure, rpg etc.

But races and pvp mandatory to get 5K??

For me pvp is horrible I never played war games or pvp... they say you must do that to reach 5k... each persuit gives u 70 ego... LOL

I am on 4.000 ... how the HECK will I reach 5K ego?

Finally I lost interest in the game.. today I just left it because of boredom
Why to spend money in Ark Forge to upgrade weapons.. wait for an orange one... in the random tier 4 boxes or Defiant boxes?

Why to purchase a new outfit or car??? I feel no desire of it anymore because there is no GAME!!!!!

They say also there is another method to reach more EGO, and its by upgrading all your weapons and stuff as cars etc,
so..

Ark falls have no sense anymore.. nor sieges.. nor coop.. nor nothing.. and you have to play with weapons you dont like? ?? (obviously you dont like the weapons you need to upgrade because you already upgraded the ones you love...)

Even the company lose money with this crap, I dont get it.

I loved the game, the ambience, the atmosphere, the graphics, the sounds, the voices, all is great... the main mission.. etc. but now... ? I dont know how to explain it fine.

Its like.. you are just there.. feeling that SUCK BAD to be there stucked and knowing all the things you love to do are for absolutely no goals...

Pretty much all games have a point at which you stop progressing. In Defiance, that's 5900 ego, and if you don't want to do the stuff that it takes, that's fine. Nobody says you have to. Stay at 4k.

If you can't have fun unless your Ego rating keeps going up, then you need to find another game to play anyway.

You can definitely get to well over 5000 EGO without PvP. I'm at 5561, and I only started doing PvP a couple weeks ago (note my join date), at somewhere around 5500 EGO. I've also only completed one area's worth of driving pursuits (some of them are nearly impossible at Gold level with the increased event spawns clogging the routes and respawning so fast that clearing them first is a waste of time).

I did do all the combat pursuits, though (except one solitary sniper one I just can't seem to figure out how to get Gold on). They're fun, though...at least in my experience.

Yeah, but unless you have someone to invite you in, under 5000 means no Expert Co-Ops, which a lot of people really enjoy (myself included...when I can actually tolerate the endless queue). No Paradise Territory/Chimera weapons, from the Cores those Co-Ops drop, either...

No. You're not a robot. Nor are you a grind gamer.

You may want to stick to linear based story line games. That way you know when you're finished and there's nothing else to do.

Suppose you get to 5k ego. Then what? You stop progressing again. Then the game will be exactly the same for you as it is now. There comes a point where progression stops.

If the game sucks for you now, then the game will suck for you then. You might as well find something else to play, because you are all done with Defiance now.

The thing that I find mystifying is why playing the game was fun so long as you were getting xp, and then it stopped being fun. It's not like the Arkfalls changed. The sieges are no different. The stuff you do in the game does not change just because you aren't getting xp. The only thing that changed is -you-. If the stuff you were doing isn't fun anymore, what difference does it make what your Ego is?

I'm stuck at around 1050 lol. But I still play and the game is fun with friends I only care about my level if it stops me from playing what I want. Like the higher missions
