    In all honesty, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to get this fixed...

    Alright so 8 days ago after a recent patch, I encountered a devastating bug. The trading scrip system has been changed for me and all though it looked cool, it is broken. Before I used to be able to to type in the amount of scrip using numbers on my keyboard, and now its been changed to where it looks something like 000,000 when you go to trade scrip, well the first 000,00 are grey and blacked out ( http://postimg.org/image/6h4dyfeun/
    and http://postimg.org/image/vm7xn0l6d/ ) so I can literally give 1-9 scrip at a time. Which means I can not buy anything from anyone. I submitted it as a bug first, then I submitted it under the ticket.
    This was what I put in the ticket " I labled this as currency missing because it was the only option closest to my issue. I have a weird thing going on when I go to trade with people and I want to give them scrip, I can only select the first box and put it from 0-9. Every other slot is grayed out and un-selectable. It is really frustrating because I can't buy weapons or give buddies cirrency because the only option available is 0-9 crip. Before I used to be able to just type however much I wanted, but now it looks like it has been changed to a clock like feature where you can select up and down in every slow which is cool I guess but no other slots can be selected. It looks like this 000,000 and i can select only the first one soo it looks like this 000,001 000,002 000,003 etc etc up untill 000,009. I can't select anything else and therefore I am unable to buy weapon mods or weapons or shields etc etc. Please fix this."

    I wait and receive nothing so I contact a dev on here named rashere, and after a few back and forth comments, he told me the pictures were a help. Then I get a email from the support team saying

    I reply saying No problem about the wait, even though it kinda is but whatever, and say I'm still experiencing the issue and it sucks because I've missed out on buying a few mods and weapons.

    2 days after I send that, i get an email saying

    Thanks for the report regarding only able to send up to 9 scrip during trade. Unfortunately, this is an issue in which we are unable to provide an immediate fix or workaround for you. Our development team is still in need of information from players, so that they may replicate this issue. The best way to do this is for you to submit a bug report, to explain the issue and how it happened in your own words.

    To report a bug in-game:

    1. Press 'F6' to get to the settings screen
    2. Click on 'Submit Feedback'
    3. Select a Category (Comment, Bug, Other) and enter text explaining the bug you currently have or feedback you have about Defiance.

    Please know that it is important for the bug report to come from your character. Not only does it allow you to explain the issue in detail, in your own words, it will also automatically attach critical pieces of character information to your bug report for our QA team to review.

    So i read this and my first reaction is are you serious? I have to wait for other players to get this so they can report it? And then my next reaction is I have to submit a bug report? SOMETHING I ALREADY DID? It can take months for someone to get this issue, hell no one can get this and so then what? I'm just literally ****ed? I sent a reply that if any dev wishes to know, I will gladly send to them saying what weapons and mods I missed out and should atleast recieve them as missing items or deleted items or something because technically, I had every opportunity to get them and they were taken away from me because of this bogus bug. I dont know if a dev on here can even help me because I am so confused on who I am supposed to go to. Ive submitted a bug, ive talked to one dev, Ive talked to the email support.
    The email support team is more of a "I am not going to reply for however long, but when I do, I am going to apologize and say we can't help you because we dont fix that. But we arent going to send this to that side of the team, we are going to label this as solved in the next 72 hours."
    Like honestly I dont understand. This minor bug, is extremely detrimental to the game. I can't give anyone money, and if you think i am going to sit there and add 9 scrip 55,555 times, you are highly mistaken, any good weapon or mod is above 300k scrip and that is around 40k times I have to enter 9 scrip. Personally I dont mind if this issue gets fixed or not as long as a dev or someone can put the items I should of had or need in my claim items or something cause this is just ********. Im sorry to curse but really it is. I love trion, I have spent over 600 dollars in rift alone, i went to pax party, i bought the season pass for this, I have supported this company more then most have. And this is how one of their top paying customers gets treated? I mean yeah you are getting ddosd supposedly and dealing with AA and other things but wtf am I to them? I am extremely disappointed in this. If anyone has this issue or knows how to fix it please by all means tell me. If any fev has read this, message me with SOME NEWS.... I dont mind if i lag, i dont mind if i dc, i dont mind bugged quest, i dont mind things like that but this is something that is seriously aggravating and frustrating in every way possible. I cant do what i want, i cant buy mods from people, or trade with people or anything because of this. It is a serious issue. And I dont know what else to do then to come on here and rant. I dont see this getting fixed if i dont. I deserve, after all the time and money i have put into this team and companies, someone to be helping me. I usually dont ask for much, I am very laid back and calm, but I just am frustrated now because there isnt much of a point of me to play. I put in over 200 hours to get the scrip I did to pay for these mods and weapons and it took forever to find someone even selling them. And when i find them? BOOOM bug and now i cant. They are sold and long gone and being a gm on a few private servers and other things, i know how this **** works. So dont tell me you cant put those items in my inventory because i know you can. And i feel terrible coming here and saying that because it is just bad. I know how it looks to ask for things to be given to me but this to me is like a deleted item accidentally or an item that just disappeared. Its almost like going into a warmaster, and if he dies, the system has already programmed the drops to where you are guaranteed this item, but because of the server lag, you dc right as he dies, you see the weapon ppop up right before the dc, you sign in and it is gone and not in your inventory, it is the same thing for me, these items would have been mine because i was able to pay for them and the people had them. You can take away all my scrip if thats fair but seriously. I want this issue fixed, or atleast someone a competent dev who is able to guide me in the right direction and get this sorted out unlike the robotlike email team who literally in my opinion are no help..

    Have you tried to reinstall glypt + Defiance game ?

    I know it takes about an hour but this is the way to go. You will not get support in a f2p game for an odd isolated issue. Reinstall everything and you should be fine.

    Ah, I knew I forgot to mention something in that long chain of messages. Yes I have re installed (twice), downloaded it through steam, and still have the issue no matter if I play on steam or the glyph launcher. I have re installed twice through glyph and once through steam. Still have it messed up.

    You have a problem that they don't know how to fix. They can't reproduce the problem on one of their systems. What exactly do you expect them to do?

    If you have uninstalled, removed all the old files, and done a fresh install, and you are still having this same problem, it is almost certainly something to do with your system, not their game.

    One hour with your internet, it would take 15 with mine.
    But I don't think reinstalling the game has anything to do with that bug.

    You are kidding right, the guys done all he can and it's his systems fault.

    Please explain why.

    As far as I know (I may be wrong, but I could not find a local configuration file on my computer so it is a reasonable assumption) most of the game settings are stored on the server, and if your settings get corrupted, strange things can and will happen. A friend of mine had trouble with the chat window (the chat lines were squashed, he could not read anything; changing the font size or any other chat options did not help, reinstalling the game did not help, etc.), but after resetting the chat interface it went back to normal. It may sound stupid, but you could try the same: reset the chat and everything else that is resettable. I'm not saying that it will be your 100-percent solution, but it won't hurt giving it a try.

    All right.

    Support has done all they can, and the problem isn't solved.

    Play the odds. Which is more likely?
    1) There is something wrong with the game, that is only happening to one person out of all the thousands of people playing it.
    2) The problem is with his system.

    When I started to play this game (over a year ago) I had an issue where the steering and look control on vehicles were both tied to the same analogue stick. Support wouldn't believe that my problem existed until I was able to send in pictures and then had to wait until December last year for a patch to fix it. Give them thier due I did get 1,800 bits as compensation.
    More recently I submitted a ticket re getting access into the game and logging on to the forum.

    Support told me to install cookies lol and not even a mention of the DDOS attack they were experiencing at the time.

    So what is more likely is it's easier for support to palm you off with excuses when they don't have an answer instead of telling you they currently don't know.

    To rule out it being your computer, is there another computer you can use to log in?

    Rule one or the other out. If it works fine on a different computer, then it seems to be your computer. If it does the same thing on another computer, it may be something with your account that may have corrupted.
