Another DLC store special please!

Will there be some more Glyph store discounts or specials in the future? Can you tell us this sort of thing? Are all your secrets secret?

I ask because a while ago I bought DLC1 from the Glyph store when it was on special. I'm glad I bought it at a discount because I was a little disappointed with the tiny amount of content it contained, with low replay value, but for $5 that's was fine.

I've been checking back since to see if the Glyph store had any more specials going on, since I'm not really sure I want to pay even $10 for such small amount of extra content (judging solely by DLC1).

I decided I'll buy DLC2, 3 , 4 and 5 if any of them are on a $5 special price, and would be interested to see if there are some other special offers or deals.

Maybe some of the other players can add their comments here to let me know if they thought the the DLCs were good value for $10, or flame me for being such a cheap-skate. I can handle your 'Caps Lock'; internet do your worst!

If you consider the Dlc packs as a goodies bundle pack then they are a good value based on how much all the stuff would be in the Defiance store separately. Outfits alone are atleast $5.00 with helmets being another $5.00 or so. However if you are ignoring the goodies and judging strictly based on missions then you are right, the Dlcs are horribly priced. However as a goodies bundle pack with the dlc content as a bonus it is a great value, based on the Defiance store prices.

So you see it is all a matter of perspective. However if you want to know what you get from each paid DLC, then I suggest you check here.

See that is exactly my point with my above post. If you look at the prices that each of the Dlc items would cost individually, then the Dlc for $10.00 is a great price, as long as you consider it a bundle pack and consider the actual dlc missions an extra bonus to buying it.

If you don't feel the need to get the Dlc right away, then I'd suggest waiting until Next month. With them releasing a free dlc update (aftermath) Later this month, there is a chance that they will put the dlc on sale for Pc players again, in hopes that returning players coming just to try the new free dlc decide to buy some of the paid stuff while they are at it. Of course since we are talking about Trion, I can't say that there is more than a 20% chance of them doing it, but it is possible somebody there decides that it would be a smart choice.
