Best vehicle to start trying for gold Time trials

Since I'm not getting that fuzzy feeling about actually getting my pre-order challenger I figured I'd go for the black one instead.

What is a good vehicle to try to hammer that one out with? So far I have the Hannibal 800R and that doesn't seem to have the speed to do it as I just got bronze meanwhile I was almost topped out speed-wise the entire time on one of these trials.

The more you drive a vehicle the more it gets upgraded from speed to hit points and from hit points to boost points so i would suggest you try and upgraded as much as you can with your vehicles then try and go for gold.

^ this, most of the trials have their own vehicle mostly runners, so you'll want to roll one of those for a while to get the speed boosts, boost boost, etc to get the gold times.
