Patch Error or Patch Loop Troubleshooting

you know what would be great? If anonymous hacked the TV show premier and put up a failed patch loop for the entire hour.

So attempt 4 and this time the patcher has more info on it than before. Before it just said welcome to Defiance, now it also says check out our forums yadda yadda yadda so I hope this is a good sign.

Also not seeing uptine billion post about patcher so can I assume paid customers can at least complete download now? I am already prepared to troubleshoot the next issue but dl and install is 1st Mtn to climb, which in this day and age should have been a mole hill

2nd edit: Yes patcher loop during shows release would be funny, even though I think I want to watch the show more than get a cheap giggle lol.

here is the only thing that "failed" in my patcher.txt (yes I have tried deleting it) it is the very last entry of the .txt document

Try pinging update03.triongames.com. It'll fail. Pinging update02.triongames.com works though. update03 is down or something. The game download link points to update03 and that fails too.

The devs need to push the little restart button on update03's server.

i downloaded the torrent and copied the files over and the patcher runs through a check list then partway through it will come up with patch error

Fix your patcher. Still not able to install the game. I have all files on my Computer but your Patcher want me to download it over and over again.

Im absolute done in trying to fix this by myself. Spend now an entire Week on this and im really close to get my money back.

Well I got the patch error as well but my log showed it failed due to not being able to move files. Looked at the Defiance folders properties and it was set on read only after changing that had no problems patching afterwards. This was after also making sure it was allowed thru the firewall. Of course this only applies if it isn't moving files and fails.
