Some MAJOR flaws of Defiance (Trion read this)

1. The game world is the smallest I've seen in an mmo
2 Enemy variety is close to nothing. Robots, Hellbugs, Raiders. That's it.
3. Why are there levels on weapons if they all do the same damage?
4. The only difference between a grey-grade weapon and an orange-grade weapon are 2-3 bonus effects that hardly even make a difference. Higher damage? Nope.
5. The so-claimed "open world pvp" isn't even in the game.
6. No auction house of any kind.
7. Lack of PvP gear
8. NO CHAT BUBBLES. Nobody even talks in this game because it's impossible to notice when someone types a message.

That's about it for now.

1. The map is big, we're just not allowed to go everywhere for now. Wait and see I guess.
2. and 99ers, mutants, Dark Matter.
3. Once maxed out they grant a specific bonus.
4. You don't need higher damages, it's an horizontal progression. Better bonus, better crits, better procs, basically everything better but the damages. You won't see big numbers in Defiance and I find it refreshing compared to all that Korean crap epeen oriented.

It's not our common MMO, give it time.

I haven't noticed anyone typing in the game at all since it's so hard to notice.

If you have voice turned off in the settings then that might be why as it mutes all game chat not just voice.

1. Guess you never saw APB on its first go, I'm sure the Reloaded still has not added new maps.
2. So what? Most every MMO, to date, enemys are just reskins of the same mobs anyhow. Very few mmos have vastly different mobs...
3. I like that theres no power creep on gear, it means Skill is better then gear. This is a good thing.
