I drink a lot of Vitamin Water when gaming though it's still has a lot of sugar it's better then drinking a soda. But since you asked for soda I'd say I drink Mtn. Dew.

Diet soda makes people crave sugar because of the sweetener in it, so in away can make people gain weight.

Its been proven that the artificial sweeteners in diet soda not only have carcinogenic properties but now they are saying they can actually put you at a higher risk for diabetes as well.

The best thing you can do is to stock up on bottled water keep it nice and cold in a fridge.
Second best is unsweetened 100% fruit juices.

If you absolutely have to have soda look for soda sweetened with real sugar. The problem with soda isn't so much the calories but moderation and High Fructose Corn Syrup.
