Yeah, I've had this. It was a Black+yellow/gold colour now it's Red. Bizarre!
EDIT:: Both colours seen today.
Mines been red, pink, green, yellow and blue at times.
Yup, the color change seems to be related to when other 800's are nearby, base color is white when no one is around. I'm pretty sure it's a bug.
Yeah, a clan mate of mine has the same issue, we tried going close with different colored 800's and his 800 changed color to the closest 800.

It shows a white one in the description. Mine seems to change depending on what time it is in game. Black at night, red at sunrise and sunset, and white in day. If this isn't intentional, make it this way. Everyone deserves a color changing atv for entering all those tedious codes.
Known issue, happens on my PC version as well as my PS3 version. Prolly will be fixed in the huge patch coming in a week.
