Fanbois: Its an MMO! Give it a week to be playable!

you know what, im not pissed at anyone. and i probably should have worded the topic differently than calling people fanbois. But when I pay money for a game thats claiming to have made an mmo for console (that ive waited years and years for), I guess its just pretty damn dissapointing when I realize I probably wont get to play for several days

And i understand that but play what you can and in the mean time watch some t.v go outside make a cake, play an old game. Do something else that'll make you happy and take you mind off waiting. Personally their servers go down and i jump on here and have fun talking with people while i wait.

I believe its been nearly 48 hours after release there champ. and ive played several of the games youve mentioned, all of the releases were better than this. Have you played those titles?

now that i can understand and i agree with you, i have been able to play most of the time i have had the game so i have not had it happen to me. But if it is happening that you cannot play then by all means voice the opinion. And just so you know the game is fantastic you will not regret spending your money on it when your able to play (they fix the issues) may be a little while but it will be worth the wait

It is understandable for people to be frustrated about the launch of the game. It's never a fun thing to pay for a product or service only to have issues immediately with it. But you need to think, it is almost in the norm to have issues with any kind of online or multiplayer game on it's launch day (ie. CoD, Halo, Diablo 3, etc)... especially on consoles.

I think also everyone on the xbox 360 side of things needs to consider the fact that this is the first MMO on the console in the past like, 6 or 7 years. (The last one before it was Final Fantasy XI).... So it will take a while for everyone (both devs, microsoft, and players) to get into the swing of things playing this MMO on the 360.

Everyone should probably give this a solid week or so before things kind of start to even out and stuff gets better..... My only hope is that Trion will somehow make it up to those of us that pre-ordered the game due to us losing out on some of the XP boost that we got.
