Improved Raptor and taking your Squad on the road

Hi There
It would be nice if you could get a group bonus for taking your buddy’s with you on the road.
The Raptor looks pretty amazing even though it lacks the gun .
So here is the list of things i would add to it:

1. - Enable friends or Clanmembers to spawn into your Raptor. We always go to players phases that have found something interesting like a raid or the EXL / Halloween events. But you always have to wait untill they've reached their destination. Or you simply spawn in the middle of nowhere, because he was driving. To be able to spawn in the passenger seat would solve that. Just like with the Zerberus in competative.
2. -Keep the base speed the same but increase the travel speed with more passengers. So that if its fully loaded with friends it gets the fastest car! That way you would have an incentive to use the passenger seats and take your buddy’s with you on the road.
3. - Add the top mounted gun. This could be added as an item that can be found and equipped. Or permanently.
4. - Enable players to shoot from the inside of the car. Obviously only the not occupied passengers should be able to shoot. The driver hast to drive, the gunner has the mounted gun. But the others could shoot their standard guns from the front or the back.
5. - Increase the life pool and shield of the raptor when fully loaded with players. You could add the life and shield of all the passengers up which then becomes the raptors health and shield. Once the raptor dies .. everyone on board dies.
6. - Raptor competitive multiplayer. Add a map where raptors can battle each other or integrate it into competitive maps. Mad Max :-D

True, but as it is, its just too weak. Like the Zerberus is oneshot. You cant even manage to get your 5 kills for the Echelon daily because sb always makes your car explode before you can fire a single shot.
So increasing car's hp and shield is realy neccesary.
Maybe you could enable passengers to heal it using bmg?

but how will the system know , where to teleport ? character or vehicle ?
then you must have another button "TP to vehicle".

Otherwise you're right , I've also teleported to friends and see .... noone , I'm in the middle of nowhere
Your friends are long long gone away
But that's a general problem of this TP-system.

Logic wise:
If player you tp to is in car and car has unoccupied passenger seats then spawn in there.

At the moment you can only join cars when in group with the car owner.
Maybe that would have to be extended to Clan members and Friends in the list.
I dont know how their code works, but it cant be too hard to do that.

That has to be impleted ASAP !!! That would be tons of fun !

And clearly, the other points have to be looked at by the devs, so that the raptor owners would have a reason to actually use it.

Thats exactly why i made this Tread. I like the Raptor, it looks awsome has many seats for friends.
But its just a pain in the A** to drive.

• Too Slow
• Too heavy - at least it feels like it when driving
• you have to group up to get in the passenger seat :-/ Friend or clan would be nice
• No gun
• not able to shoot from the inside
• cant tp to passenger seat
• Breaks too often cant take much damage - agreed this a general car issue.

Latency issues. They can't even get the cerb to work right and at most there are only 2 of them in an instanced map, so imagine how horrible it would be in PVE. The gunner would be standing frozen above the rode at Last chance with the driver in the Raptor in San fran with the gun firing. That would cause a lot more people to crash/freeze. No thank you. Let the gun stay gone. No need to add more broken things and horridly bugged issues into the game.

Also the car's shields and hitpoints were nerfed because of the jackholes who would just run everything over at arkfalls/sieges/incursions because they were too damn lazy to get out and shoot stuff in a shooter! If they added gunned vehicles, lots of people would sit at the edge of an event with friends in the car blasting away, and not really doing anything useful.

I fully agree. Pleas add more NOT broken things like top mounted guns and tp to passenger seat

The hit damage has been nerfed alreada by a lot! And i do like the current car hit dmg.

Maybe but it would be the same like it is now with snipers sitting in a remote position, trying to get the lasthit on Hulkers etc ..

Sounds like youre taking teir point of view and not a view of an active player that wants to have more fun
I agree that there are many bugs and i see Trion working on fixing them wich i like very much.
But we should not be in the defensive here fearing more bugx and laags.
After all were paying customers!
