server downtimes are announced... they are less than 15 mins downtime, we're not talking the hours some launches deal with.. it's reasonable.

P.S. please state which server btw so we know which you mean (platform/region)

I'm not overly familiar with consol server status, so forgive me, but it's fairly common for an MMO to have daily server down times of 15 mins or so regularly to update all the feed backand bug reports they get, especially during launch week. TBH I find the amount of server downtime I've seen, PC side at least, to be very good for an MMO launch.

They can't update the game and make the "hotfixes" ie the exploits, cash reports, connectivity updates etc, without kicking us all from the server for a few minutes. I will say the game chat lickent alone isn't really enough. At least us PC users are used to something far more apparent that tells us it's coming down. I've seen the notices, but I can see how they can easily be missed.
