First of all an mmo of this magnitude has never been done on the X-box...

Yes the servers are hard to get into, yes the game just went all screwy but its just code and it happens...

You have to KNOW that they are all scrambling right now to fix all this, so just play something else and come back too it tomorrow...

You all act like mmo games are all flawless just after opening up, but think of it this way... there are so many players that it crashed their wildest expectations of membership.

do you think it would make my xbox freeze up that i would have to turn it off i love the game but thats my only real issue ill be play a mission or be in a big fight it just freezes

WHat you fail to realize is that Trion didn't do an open beta. That would have given insurmountable insight on many issues we face. How can you launch a game when the in-game chat does not even work? failure on Trion for letting Syfy bully you into releasing before ready.

Most of the people on the forums are just here to vent and rage after a d/c. It's getting old pretty dang quick. But, I for one am LOVING this game! So addicting! I haven't pulled an all-nighter for a game release in a while and I can't get enough!

Agreed. There was Phantasy Star Universe on 360, before the servers got shut down. That wasn't perfect but was similar on the MMO level, however they charged 15$ a month. Defiance is a free to play MMO which is amazing in today's society. PLease be patient with them. They offer better support than PSU did and you had to pay.

it was a reasonable open beta i played on beta 3 on ps3 and xbox, you had to pre order the game, and there was a closed alpha if you asked real nice they let you in

Open beta costs a bit of money and doesn't give as much info as you think. I do think that an early start scheme would have helped

PSU closed? Bummer... I almost considered getting it a while back just 'cause I used to play PSO on my Dreamcast. Also, the Walmart I went to only had the one copy remaining.
