Well, my game ran fine up until the servers went down. MOB's worked properly, spawned properly, no lag, good graphics, no tearing or ripping, no texture issues, just stuff dying and me getting cool weapons.
Bit pissed about being 200sc short on that damn purple assault rifle at the vendor when it timed out.. you know just sayin..
I have been in many betas, and the PC release is early beta, at best! The bugs start at the login screen, with the defective "authenticator code" field and broken "what is this links". Really? Those issues could have been fixed by one dev in 30 minutes! Then there is the almost complete lack of documentation, which consists of half a page containing a PARTIAL listing of keyboard commands and a huge EULA. NOTHING ELSE. Then there is the character generation, where half the customization options are simply MISSING. The descriptions of the starting gear and racers are also conspicuous in their absence. The game graphic options are just sad, giving essentially no control. The tutorial mission is pathetic, with EGO being very vague about what it wants done and expecting you to use commands it never mentioned. Then there is the apparent total lack of tech support. Trion better get its act together ASAP. I am running Widows 7 with an I7 with 6GB RAM triple channel and a GTX570 Ti, so am pretty sure it is not my system that is the problem.
Me too! I have a beautiful shot of a blowed up bridge, some flowers, or maybe they're weeds, I dunno, but they're blowing in the wind, and some cool music playing in the background! I know at some point they're gonna mess it all up though and make me run around and actually do stuff. Don't ya hate that? Definitely not looking forward to that part!

No lag issues here had one quest so far bug did an arkfall and came back worked perfect haven't had any serious issues so i can't complain.
Well that right there is your problem! I upgraded to Divorcees 8 and haven't had a problem since! I can't do that triple channel RAM thing though, I am plum tuckered out after the first two.
OK, I was finally able to log on, again. I deleted my first character and made a new one. This time the icons showed up for customization, and I was able to get my toon looking decent. The EGO icon also turned up.
Had none of those issues, ever (on PC). Did I miss it or what platform are you talking about?
Well, I stated PC, and gave specs. You do not get the "Authenticator Code" field and broken "What is this?" links on login? You got real documentation? EGO actually tells you all the keys it wants you to use to do things in the tutorial, such as "F" for melee attack in using the invisibility EGO power? In my client, survivalist starts with the invisibility power and you have to use melee to get past it, but melee is not covered until later.
I agree that my prior comments were a frustration induced rant of childish nature. I am jus as pissed today as I was the first day; however I do not need to insult people who are trying to do what needs done. Trion as a company is where my frustration is and to degrade the coders is a immature statement and I apologize for. With that said though the game is far from being "playable." I am on the Xbox and the problems just seem to get worse. Now creatures don't take damage, cars won't spawn, invisible enemies killing me and the list goes on. I am not the only one who bought this game expecting a product worth paying for. Trion would never let people pay half now and half when the game is playable, so why do we have to pay all now and get half later. I understand people maybe a bit more patient than me, but I have a legit complaint and I am making it known, butas far as the ignorant personal slurs in my first post I am better than that and will keep it professional from here on out.
