the reason is that the game is optimized for controllers. since controllers are sub-par to mouse/kb in almost everything (except racing/flying games) they need to boost its control with artificial speed adjustments. usually this can be noticed in menues when playing console ports (acceleration). why they didn't remove this for people using kb/mouse can only be explained with laziness/disregard for pc player's needs. also it shows that obviously nobody at q/a has actually tried playing it on a pc WITHOUT controller and aim-assist. I mean just go and do "reservoir chickens" with the slow moving pistol.

this is absolutely the biggest issue for me as well and it should be fixed ASAP if trion cares even the faintest bit about its pc customers. how hard can it be to give us the same constant speed everywhere in the game? just remove those lines of code from the pc version and we'll be able to aim normally without sliding like crazy around the mousepad..

whats the point ? everytime you zoom in or ADS you click the sensitivity changer ? I also have a pretty meaty mouse with many configuration but this dosent change the problem

its the ADS or rigth mouse Zoom that is the problem lol mouse as sensitivity ajustment lolll

I cant click to switch my sensitivity on the fly everytime i hit the ADS key hahaha

I had this same complaint as well. I like to set my sensitivity so that it scales based on the zoom level. Meaning however far I move my mouse will always result in the same amount of screen space covered.

One thing though is that it appears scopes aren't affected by this. They seem to scale pretty nicely - which is a good thing for me. I love my scopes.

It's also one of the reasons that I REALLY want a FOV slider in game, I have to crank my sensitivity way too low for it to not feel twitchy for me, and results in me lifting my mouse way more than I'd like.

    It's a two part issue.

First, there should be no zoom at all, it's an artificial FOV adjustment.
We have several options of what can happen instead:

    A) Iron sights
    or
    B) Movement speed reduced to a walk(as it does now), with a reticle reduction/accuracy increase that is equal to half the amount between that of normal movement and crouching. E.g. somewhere in the middle
    or
    C) A secondary weapon function, like a manual detonation on rocket laucher.

Or some combination/toggle option of the three.

Secondly, there should be a separate sensitivity slide for scoped weapons, which also affects the non scoped weapons when holding your aim button (assumin that 'B' from above is implemented in place of a camera zoom).
