it doesn't help if the sensitivity changes as soon as you aim with the right mousebutton. it needs to be constant (the same) wether you're aiming through a scope or firing from the hip, or browsing through a menu.

This game does need a ADS setting. It needs a MAX so cannot be exploited. - However it really does need to be improved. A MAX to the turn arc can sort out the obvious issue of people going to far with it. 260 degrees or sumthin. This would improve game alot tbh
I removed the aim assist and i can move the mouse around like i do in any other shooter. in "zoom" and normal
I turned off aim assist the very instant the option to do so was implemented back in alpha/beta. Got no issues at all.
Platform: PC
Character: Blackwolfe (EU)
Rolling with the Red Thugs!
I don't have this problem.. but then again my mouse has 6400 dpi and is like a cyborg rat..

Sorry but this doesn't solve the issue with low mouse sensitivity in "aim" mode versus "normal" mode.
Well, I'm using the Steelseries Sensei MLG edition with up to 16400 dpi if you want to take the discussion to the mine is bigger than yours level...
But I agree.
Aiming mode is useless because it is so fregging slow.
Better pick crouch damage reduction perk, crouch and turn fast.
You know what I saw in the PC version that made me throw up in my mouth?
AIM ASSIST
You realize this is there for balance right? If you don't understand that, then you've not ever seen competative FPS/TPS shooters and the early days when people were tweaking their turn speeds, or you are trying to do this yourself to give yourself an advantage. It's not likely to change, it's not a bug, it's a design choice to maintain balance.
